Things I didn't know about babies - #1 of 123,987

I didn't know babies farted so often. Big, adult-sized farts. Remarkable that such a small body can produce sounds of such expulsive power.

And thanks everyone for comments - more than you know. I don't have much time to get off my own blog and go exploring but somehow your comments make me feel like I am still in touch with the world. Blogs as inoculation against post-natal depression - there's a thesis in that.

They are both sleeping right now. At the same time. I must go and lie down. Quick!

Oh My God!! That picture is DIVINE.... There is certainly something very special about twins, how do you stop looking at them??
Hope you got a nap, its amazing how good you get at sleeping on demand after a while!
Have a lovely weekend...

Such delicate little critters, such enormous wind!!! This also shocked us because it's something we had no idea of either. Wait till they get a bit older and their farts start to stink!!! HEHEHE. Think we nearly cleared a queue today. HA!

Talking books from the library are good, you don't even have to turn any pages.

the farting and the burping sounds are pretty impressive from such small people.
when we started feeding the baby solids we made the mistake of giving her cauliflower. deadly.

I also was shocked at how loud a tiny baby can be. Beautiful baby bum picture.
