It's not rocket science, just Close. Your. Eyes.

This is my life now: all I try to achieve each day is putting on new washing, getting yesterday's washing in, and cooking dinner.

The dry washing is tumbled into a pile in the babies' room.

The wet washing is still in a bucket under the line.

Dinner was disgusting, neither of us could eat it.

The consolation cherry B0unty was pretty good though.

It's pretty crappy at times, isn't it? But really, everything passes, and soon things will be better. For example, you will be able to complete a relatively brief task on the first go, without having to begin it 15 times.

I think you're doing very well because I couldn't cope with one baby.
I went from fantastic cook to lousy, things happen and baked beans are really nourishing.

it got a lot easier (for me, anyway) at the six month mark. there was suddenly space again for stuff that wasn't baby or housework related.
but the first six months - argh.
