They can't live on mashed pumpkin and breast milk forever

All those wholesome recipes in my baby and toddler cookbooks, all those chicken and barley soups and zucchini muffins...when do people find time to make them?

They don't. Not when they have twins.

My elder daughter was very well fed. It was a bit hit and miss with the younger two, and I very, very rapidly moved them on to whatever we were having mashed up.

Nine month old children are astonishingly good at assimilating vegemite sandwiches. All over their faces usually. And through their hair. But that's why we have babywipes, and flannels / face washers, and automatic washing machines. The latter doesn't work so well for the babies, 'tho.
