I'm too scared to read my comments!

Hahaha. Oh poor you. It's not too bad an eruption as far as blogging volcanos go.

yeah, see, now I'm sorry I left a comment...I really do think blogging can be a bit of a black and white discussion forum, when if we'd had the discussion irl, there would have been more shades of grey. That's why I hardly ever comment - I hate misinterpreting people and I hate being misinterpreted.

word verifiaction: ingst
that's funny

I feel exactly the same as ThirdCat. Blogging isn't great for nuance; the chance of misinterpreting intentions/tone is high.

I'm not sorry I left mine. Although it's your blog, Mikhela, and you have the right to your opinion, and to say what you want, it's also a public forum by being on the web, so it's open to interpretation and criticism.

I am a pretty PC person, which stems from my empathetic nature. I think that is why the nappy post bothered me. For example, I'm always the one to give money to panhandlers when others drive by and say "They're only going to use the money for drugs." I look at it in a different way. I look at it like, "Those people are in a much worse place than me if they have to stand on the side of the road and ask for money. I'm fortunate I live a comfortable life, so I'm going to give them a bit of money."
I also don't make fun or look down on people who are in a different class. I hate the term "White trash" and things like that. I'm not from Australia so I don't know what a bogan is, but I imagine it's something like that.

Anyway, I generally really like your blog, Mikhela. And I agree that if we were talking about all this in real life it wouldn't be so black and white, as ThirdCat said.
