"Yet here is the rub for us as gay people: we have a choice. Unlike most minority groups, many of us have the option of 'passing', of playing the game, of seeking to become, or to remain part of the included. Sometimes this seems a matter of survival - but there is a deep seduction here too." Michael B Kelly, Seduced By Grace.

I know the feeling. I get to the end of a day of fighting with a toddler and being generally pregnant, sure that when Pcat gets home she will see what a nightmare tantrum throwing mood Piggy is in. Piggy will be charming and sweet and co-operative the minute the door opens.
Oh and I have tagged you on our blog! if you have time please join in!
Yes, the non breastfeeding / working parent will never truly, truly understand, no matter how much they say 'Oh yes it must be awful, yes I know what you mean, I completely understand what it must be like for you'....

Here's what you do. On the weekend you ask Lovergirl to look after the babies while you go out to do the shopping and maybe even have a quiet coffee all by yourself. Let her know you will be gone 2hrs if that's possible. It's good for your soul and gives Lovergirl a chance to enjoy them (and the screaming) on her own without having to share.
Make sure you leave her at least 2 good jobs to do, like hanging out the clothes and cleaning the shower or preparing dinner. Guaranteed the babies will get looked after perfectly well but the chores won't and Lovergirl might see your role in a different light for just a little while.
Your little ones are looking just gorgeous btw, so glad I can't hear the noise associated with some of those photos.
I know what you mean. The first time I left my partner alone with Teo when he was younger for more than two hours, she actually went to visit her sister and mom. I got unnecessarily angry with her because I just wanted her to know what it was like. It was exacerbated by the fact that my mom and sister don't live close-by so I couldn't just do the same thing whenever I wanted.
