I have, I realised today, a production slate.
That's what we call it, in The Industry. You know, the fillum industry.
I'm making a corporate video (or, as we say, it's in production).
Tomorrow I'm going to meet with a kids' hospital about making a fantasy series for their in-house channel (so that's in preproduction).
And I'm putting in an application to get a grant to make a series of documentaries.
It's so cool.
Of course I'm not making money from any of these. But it's exciting to be on my way.

Here's truly hoping you succeed with the grant application.
This week I am appalled to think that bloody zillionaire Nicole Kidman's stupid bloody Australia film is getting a 40% govt grant.
for godssake it cost $140 MILLION dollars.
and I'd bet the ranch it's rubbish.
If they can give Baz Luhrid $56 mill, then they should give YOU everything you need for a far more useful project.
less you.
B !
it was supposed to have a B and say
Bless you.
Thanks!
I'm sure my doco will be MUCH BETTER than Australia.
Ann O'Dyne I agree 100% with what you wrote. I didn't realsie the govt actually gave Baz $$ to make the film, I guess I kind of thought he organised all the funding himself - I didn't actually realise the govt gave grants to make big budget films like that, and especially not sums of money that large. I did read in the Age however that he got paid some absolutely outrageous amount to make those Aus Tourism ads - I'm sure Molly could have done a MUCH better job!
Jeebus Annie O, where do you pick up this info? Previewers didn't like that Hugh Jackman died at the end so they had to re-film for happiness.
A fantasy series for kids sounds marvellous and 'preproduction', that's very filmspeak.
