Get back on that horse

We're pregnant (again).
I'm cautiously optimistic - erring on the side of cautious, given our previous short-lived experience with pregnancy.
Lovergirl is over the moon, planning schools and housing and playdates.

These divergent responses probably reflect our recently-discovered very different souls, here and here.

In three weeks we go back to see if there's a heartbeat, then I can relax slightly.

I'll let you know if it's all going along nicely then but I'm determined this is not going to become a baby blog with faithfully recorded details of every bout of morning sickness. I've noticed that the poos and goos of other people's children are not actually that fascinating to outsiders.

But I thought you'd like to know the generalities.

If not morning sickness, then at least some of the thoughts and emotions on your journey to motherhood, please!

I'm more of the lovergirl disposition in these things, but since it is your blog, I'll add further cautious congratulations. And you're right - I was wondering about the generalities of things.

Suszoz you've twisted my arm, I'll see what I can do.
I must admit, I know I set the tone, but your restrained responses do sound odd in my head.
Where are the streamers and marching bands?
Ah, ambivalence - my ever near companion.
